In today's gospel, we hear the parable of the bridesmaids, in which some of the bridesmaids remembered to bring oil and were allowed into the wedding feast, but the others were told "I don't know you." Pastor Hannah explains that Jesus was describing the Kingdom of Heaven. We are the bridesmaids, and with the Holy Spirit (the oil), we know Christ, and he knows us. We have willingly changed our life to follow Christ.
