This mornings gospel lesson has Jesus instructing his disciples in ways to resolve conflict between people. As Pastor Hannah observed, Jesus knew that within communities of people, even though they share common ideals and goals, disagreements will arise. Jesus shows us that the best way to handle these disagreements is directly, but respectfully. But the most important part, Pastor Hannah reminds us, is the last part of the passage: "For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them."
