When a 14-year-old girl went missing in Dearborn last week, the Dearborn Police Department went to work immediately, found the girl and brought her home safe. Dearborn Police Chief Ron Haddad shared tips on how to protect our children on our radio show Friday morning, including being involved, watching for signs of behavioral change and monitoring their social media activities as much as possible. Haddad gave and update on crimes in the city and recommended that residents call 911 to report any suspicious activities or they can call the non-tradable line at 313-943-3030.
Dr. Ali Achira, board-certified diabetes and obesity specialist, discussed the causes and types of diabetes among the different ages of patients. He also made recommendations treatment and methods to avoid or reduce chances for diabetes. Dr. Ali practices in Dearborn and Taylor and can be reached at 313-600-4669.
