The municipal primary elections are just around the corner, and law signs have flooded cities around Michigan where cities are holding elections for candidates running for office. Most of the cities have their municipal posts up for election which include city council, mayorship, or city clerk!
Dearborn is one unique city in Michigan, a diverse suburb of Detroit, and the hometown of the legendary Henry Ford. It will have a summer both in weather and in politics where 16 candidates are vying for the 7 seats on the council, 5 candidates are vying for the non-incumbent city clerk position, and 5 candidates running for the mayor including the mayor himself wanting to be re-elected.
