"I LOVE THE 405!" Said absolutely no one, ever. Seeing as its America's busiest freeway you'd think tens of thousands of motorists would praise it's construction and arterial access to so many areas of souther California. But since it's also the most congested freeway in the United States, the consensus shall likely remain...nope, it sucks, hate it, thank you very much. Such is human nature, we adapt to anything, so much so that we often take great achievements of modern convenience for granted on a collective scale.
Apparently America doesn't take Marvel for granted as Avengers: Endgame opening weekend topped the box office with $1.2 billion in ticket sales. Two weeks later that total has almost doubled. Good thing too since it's budget was $356 million. The third highest of all time. I wonder what percentage of the average Hollywood budget goes to charity?
Coop and Myan are back at it, taking down inconsiderate parkers, questioning the inaccurate nomenclature of ice balls, prioritizing the appreciation for 90's ensemble comedy and recognizing the badassery of the legend, Josh Brolin. Coop misses a decimal point in LA's growth rate as California's total population inches toward 40 million and Myan learns that black people really did feel a sense of pride and cultural representation from Black Panther. What, no love for Luke Cage?
Every week Unofficial brings you 90 minutes of original ridiculousness, Mondays with Coop and Myan and Thursdays with a talented, unknown artist or professional, grinding it out in LA. A cultural, artistic, entertainment void that is finally being filled...you're welcome.
