On episode 112 of Flickin’ It with Matt and Will we talk about Saltburn and the Beekeeper. One is pulse-pounding actioner and one is…a movie. Saltburn is just trying too hard, like the director and cinematographer had something to prove. It’s very well-acted and beautifully shot, but the story simply makes no sense. Beekeeper, on the other hand, is a straightforward story, with an interesting twist, and top notch action. It’s the kind of movie that reminds you how good an original movie can be.
