Ready Set Revue is back after a short break to talk about what everyone is talking about, The Batman. What a damn near perfect movie and possibly the best Batman movie ever made. Matt and Anthony are in pretty solid agreement on this one. Matt also takes over the contrarian position usually reserved for Anthony with a little bit of Dark Knight bashing. Robert Pattinson delivers a performance for the ages as Batman, and we say that because there isn’t a whole lot of Bruce Wayne in this movie - but that’s OK. The movie takes place early on in Batman’s career and it makes perfect sense for it to be that way. Zoe Kravitz’s take on Catwoman is unique and fits well with Battinson. The standout of the movie is probably Colin Farrell’s Penguin. God damn, this dude stole every scene that he was in, even providing a little bit of comic relief. Bring a piss bag if you haven’t seen it yet; it’s 3 hours long AND you have to stay for the after credit scene!
