Lyrics below.

This is another song written for no one in particular. I did, however, write it shortly after seeing and meeting The Marshall Tucker Band. A musician friend at the time commented: "I can tell you've been listening to Marshall Tucker." :) I didn't MEAN to sound like Marshall Tucker. Can you hear it? :)

LYRICS:

I search my mind to find the way I wanna say
Things I wanna say to you
But when I'm next to you, my mind goes on the blink
And I just sit and sweat and wish that I could say these things to you
I wish that you could feel the same way, too

You make me nervous, girl; you scare me half to death
I don't know what to say to you
I think about you every time I close my eyes
And I just wish that I had some idea of what I'm gonna do
I wish that you could feel the same way too

Out in the meadow where a breeze is blowing
Underneath a sky of blue
What I can't say, I can show you, honey
And you will never doubt the way I feel for you
What would you do? Would you feel the same way, too?

BREAK

I wanna love you, girl, but will you ever know
The feelings that I have for you?
Whenever I see you, I just let you walk by
And I could kick myself for being scared to say 'Hello' to you
I wish I knew you feel the same way too

Out in the meadow where a breeze is blowing
Underneath a sky of blue
What I can't say, I can show you, honey
And you will never doubt the way I feel for you
What would you do? Would you feel the same way, too?

And you will never doubt the way I feel for you
I wish that you could feel the same way, too
