Description

Lesley Remy, AKA Blacklauren (@mrblacklauren), makes music, DJs and represents the promoter/DJ duo the Long Count Cycle. Remy has been an active part of the NY underground house and techno scene, and has played at the most integral nights and festivals in New York, including Sustain-Release, Unter and the Bunker. On this week’s episode of the Bunker NY, Remy stops by to chat with Bryan Kasenic about the moments that got him hooked on the energy of the underground, his major influences, the importance of fashion in his life, the plans for the Long Count Cycle in the coming years and more. On the first half of the episode, we hear a set from Remy that’s solely his own slinky and driving techno productions; in the second half he DJs a set that features his finely tuned blend of atmospheric techno.
