Heimya is an electro-acoustic project born from the fusion of ideas between 3 friends based in France, where: Arabo-Andalusian, Berber, Native American and contemporary Western sounds come together as a magical inspiration between 3 live musicians, inviting listeners on a journey between ancient roots and modernity.
Across its four songs, mystical instruments come to play such as flamenco guitars, ancient flutes and deep voices, blending with tribal beats and percussions that sound that might come from another time. All these somehow magical instruments, bearers of ancestral traditions, also very deep and hypnotic, weave a connection between distant influences and contemporary production, creating a soundscape that is both introspective and dance-inducing.
To add up to this sonic alchemy we have a selected group of Franco-Chilean remixers featuring Mula, Karmaâ, Derrok and El Extravagante which add even more eclecticism, groove and inspiration to a release that's has folktronica, downtempo, organic house and even a touch of afro house grooves that's for sure going to be one of this summer's most talked releases.
