When the Israelites wandered in the wilderness, God promised them rest in the land of Canaan. This "rest" was contingent upon their trust of Him and His promise. Unfortunately, the Israelites did not trust in the promise made by God. The same is true for us. We're told to trust God and His promises, yet we find ourselves in unbelief and distrust. Fortunately, it's not too late! We still have time to not only enter God's rest, but also claim His rest for our lives as well.
