Albatross. My tribute demo to the late and great Peter Green, founder member of Fleetwood Mac.

"Albatross" is a guitar-based instrumental by Fleetwood Mac, released as a single in November 1968, featuring Peter Green's famous guitar riffs. This stood out for it's very slow ambient "plodding" bass/drum pattern and of course the laid back and excellent executed guitar melodies awash with reverb. It's pure "chill out" and reminds me of summer blue skies and freedom. A great track title that befits the vibe.
I recorded this very quickly and I can only dream of having the talent of Peter Green (RIP). I am a particular fan of the early Fleetwood Mac stuff up to about the Rumours album. Love their versatility, which I think has given them the longevity in pop music through well documented in-band issues. Great stuff!
