++++ This is my 'string quartet' cover of one of Glam-Rockers Slade's first hits in the 70's!
++ This track stood out as 4-to-the-floor pop-rock stomper but unusually featured some great violin solos from co-writer Jim Lea. It's this "fiddle" that I thought would lend itself to something more classical... and strings seemed to work. I hope you like it.
++ Slade, where the Glam Rock Gods of the 70's, were famous for their high energy, no-nonsense, guitar based pop & rock onslaught. Of course Noddy Holder, the powerhouse lead singer, knew his trade and would not just cagoule the audience into a having a good time, he made sure every gig was a riot! This is a classic Holder / Lea stomp and sing-along typical of their style.
++ So this track does feature a vocal stem c/o Karaoke Version. All other parts and instruments are Made in The Hutch! Hope you like it!
