Remixed for 2022.... My cover of a song originally written by M C Harper. This version (The Celtic Mix) was inspired by Mike's "revisited" piano piece, now performed and recorded in The Hutch! Spring 2017. Look out for the jig bit at the end!

This was a real pleasure to "play with" as it is outside my comfort zone, taught me some fundamentals of and touched on my fondness for trad' Irish music. That Celtic 6/8 beat really gets you swaying!
Overall I am happy with most of the parts here as an arrangement. It changes the haunting, lonely feel of M C Harper's original piano recording, which inspired me in the first place. Still, I hope it adds something interesting to a great tune.
