Why? Where did this little anglo-saxon sounding ditty come from? Maybe I watched a medieval film like LOTR or Merlin ... or similar. Well it's a jam, I can't even remember the chords or key!! Pretty much made up n less than 30 minutes! So got it down in my DAW.
So I am imagining an olde tavern or a proper medieval banquet with serving wenches (!), jesters, ale supping traders all dancing and laughing! :-)
But that simple repetitive acoustic based folk style appeals to me. TBH this is a "jam" as I was sifting through my Virtual Instrument library and loved the accordion sound and instantly a 3/4 folk jig sequence came to mind... then I added an Irish flute melody and we have something to work on. This is the basic demo / structure, as maybe it can go else where one day.
