I was a big fan of Slade in the Glam Rock days. The First band I ever saw live and I was smitten with their high energy, no-nonsense, guitar based pop & rock onslaught. Of course Noddy Holder, the lead singer, knew his trade and would not just cagoule the audience into a having a good time, he made sure every gig was a riot!
This is a classic Holder / Lea stomper and sing-along typical of their style. Lea would play the piano and bass, accented by Dave Hill's guitar breaks. I pretty much followed the record here.... Hope you like it!
