An Original Work c2015 (Remastered 2023)The Hutch: "Roller Coaster"
My first assignment piece for Coursera / Berklee "Introduction to Ableton Live". This is my first self-penned in-yer-face upbeat EMD piece using Ableton Live. I had the C minor riff a while back made with Novation's Bass Station. For the course I then expanded the drums, basic MIDI chords and strings. I did get a little stuck for a melody in the mid-section so added a famous melody (listen and guess) which is heavy on the pitch wheel. I enjoyed and I am proud of this work as an assignment as it's well out of my comfort zone (normally guitar/rock/blues).
