Stil & Bense are two artists that perfectly complement each other - both originating from two completely different backgrounds but focusing on a wide range from deep techno vibes to housy disco tunes.
A strong marching four to the four beat with a straight bass line give the
fundamentals to “Pulsar”, the last track of the release. A pulsating modular sound flying over the track and shaking hands with a wide stab synth and easing strings make this one a novel disco house experience!
Their main track “Pythia” was named after the ancient high priestess “the Oracle of Delphi”. So it is no surprise that mystic filtered melodic movements are combined with a yearning siren melody flying above a pushing groove, predicting an uncertain future.
“Say Hi” comes lighter with a hopping xylophone and brass theme. Catchy percussions and a 16th bass line keep the rhythm going and reward the listener with a relieving drop after the break.
