Aeromobile auf Autopiloten is the artist alias of DIY synth nerd Robert Zimmermann, who is developing and building synthesizers, sequencers and self constructed MIDI clock dividers since more than 10 years.
Together with 2 friends he runs Praxistest, an experimental studio in the form of a supervised construction kit which focuses on auditory / visual artistic production and also offers workshops where you learn to solder your own circuits and build electronic devices.
Heavily influenced by Dub, Tekno, Noise and Psychedelic Music, “Aeromobile auf Autopiloten“ is deeply interested in the polyrhythmic structures of trance inducing Folk-Musics and fueled by Punk and DIY-Culture. Robert’s improvised solo live sessions display his obsession with broken sounds, odd rhythmic measures and handmade electronic-music instruments.
On December 21st, 2017 he premieres a new promising project together with austrian avantgarde electronic producer and master drummer Lukas König (kœnig) at Super Unusual Beings:
