Since 15 years or more Karl Knall, formerly known as A Nurse Called Mike is a very active mainstay within the viennese music scene: Nowadays as part of the Transformer community, a constant supporter of Tape/DIY Culture and organizer of countless parties like the legendary Future Echo nights. Karl Knall’s expanding dj sets are characterized by a constant curiosity for all things wavey, authentic and eccentric. For his exclusive contribution to our sama recordings mix series i asked Mr. Knall if he could record a mix with his favourite arabian synth wave records for us. After some days i found this flamboyant selection of beautiful idiosyncrasy in my inbox.
