Three suggestions to make your time working from home or away from the office less stressful and more productive.
1) Have a schedule
-use the whole...not just traditional working hours
-consider starting your day with a short meeting...either by phone or text
-factor in things like kids, husband/wife, roommates, workspace layout
-know what's due each day
2) Do something for you during this time
-Workout
-Professional development
-Network...can't do coffee or a beer...but you can Facetime or do short calls to stay connected
3) Communicate
-Give or get guidance daily...stay connected to your team
-Checkin on your people...well being and state of mind...don't work in total isolation
-Let people know what you accomplished daily
