God is a god of passion and His passion is for people which was demonstrated through the sacrifice of His son, Jesus for our sins, on the cross.
When we draw closer to God, we become others centered and less selfish. Through service to others, we can show Christ-like passion for people and spread the Gospel as God has commanded us to do.
