Samuel was born around 1100BC and his hometown was Ramah, located in the hill country of Ephraim. He was a Levite from the descendants of Kohath. Samuel was the last of the judges, the first of the (major) prophets and the anointer and counsellor of Kings.
Acts 3:24 Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days.
Acts 13:20 All this took about 450 years. “After this, God gave them judges until the time of Samuel the prophet.
Samuel literally ushered in a new day for Israel. Imagine God trusting you to be that person. Could it be that there is a new day coming for your entire family, industry or your nation and God is entrusting you to transition his people into this?
