When our path here on earth comes to an end, each of us are going to have to give an account to God of all we have done. Having a relationship with the living God implies that there is a degree of accountability between us and Him.
We are accountable to Him for our actions and behavior, but we are also accountable to each other in many respects. Accountability ensures that we are responsible in our actions.
We live in a society where people don’t want to be accountable, but this is a reflection of the state of their hearts.
