El Shaddai is often translated The Lord Almighty. Each time we make reference to the almighty we are acknowledging His omnipotent nature. Omnipotence means unlimited authority, influence and power. When we have a complete revelation of this it changes how audacious we are in prayer. There is a way I make a request to you when I know that you can make things happen as opposed to when I am just chancing. From God’s perspective, anything He desires, He has the ability to make happen., Many people desire things but don’t have the power to effect that which they desire. What’s amazing about His unlimited power is that it exists and is expressed in the context of His unlimited love.
