The great Puritan preacher and author, Thomas Watson said, “God’s centre is everywhere, His circumference nowhere”. The definition I like of this crucial subject that we can’t really fully grasp is this: To be omnipresent is to be present everywhere simultaneously and indivisibly. I believe that God is fully present in all His creation whilst no part of that creation can contain Him fully. There is no place in all of creation that God is barred from. This means that God does not just observe from afar but He is there. Yahweh Shammah, the Lord who is there.
