In life, there are seasons of waiting. Waiting for the breakthrough. Waiting for the door to open. Waiting for the vindication. Waiting for the relationship to be restored. Waiting for the promise of God to be manifest in or through you. Waiting for the answer to your prayer to manifest. Waiting to be seen. Waiting for clarity. Waiting for healing. Waiting…. Who likes waiting? Not many of us. I hate queues. I hate waiting. In fact I avoid the shops and malls when they are busy. I am task-oriented. I like to go in, get what I need and leave. But there is something about waiting which God likes. He likes to help us to wait. He uses the waiting to shape us and mould us. You see, faith is important. Without faith it is impossible to please Him. When we wait and wait on Him in hope, faith grows, endurance and patience grow,…we mature.
