New in Theaters: HONEST THIEF (Briarcliff Entertainment). Make sure to check this week's "comeback classics," too. Top on my list is a re-release of Tim Burton's stop-motion animation holiday classic THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (Disney; 1993).
THREE BY... Starting a new feature this month where I highlight three films from some of my favorite directors. This month's director is Carl Reiner, who passed away at age 98 this past summer. The three films I picked were ENTER LAUGHING (1967); OH, GOD! (1977); and ALL OF ME (1984).
