Zahra includes insights and ideas that are within the excellent book "Women and Gender in Iraq: Between Nation-Building and Fragmentation," while also placing us in the current context. This interview is shared as part of a broader series to highlight social movement voices that can offer insights and ideas as to social movements taking place outside of the headlines.
