in this interview Dror provides important context, memory and background on the work of Siné, dating back to the student uprising in 1968, to the anti-colonial solidarity movements with the Algerian uprising against French occupation. also Dror outlines the influential and important role that Siné played in shaping the visual language and political context for an entire generation of French political cartoonist, including many who were central at Charlie Hebdo, which Siné contributed to for many years. finally this interview highlights the work of Siné to create in recent years the independent and more activist inclined journal Siné Mensuel journal.
