listen to a radio documentary on the Skwelkwek'welt Protection Centre, recorded in winter 2002 for broadcast on CKUT radio in Montreal. this documentary explores the anti-colonial action of Secwépemc people to protest the expansion of the Sunpeaks Ski report on to their traditional lands without their free, prior and informed consent. indigenous land defenders held down the Skwelkwek'welt Protection Centre for a number of years.
