In partnership with BBC Knowledge and Sky News Australia, we are delighted to bring you a compelling and delightful interview with the fascinating Michael Mosley. Michael is a BBC presenter, best selling author, medical journalist and a ‘self-experimenter’.
Michael is perhaps best-known for his television programs on the workings of the human body that led to him being named 1995’s Medical Journalist of the Year by the British Medical Association.
Famously, Michael once swallowed a camera to find out more about the inner working of our intenstinal systems. More recently, he has been credited with popularising the 5:2 diet, after co-authoring the international best-seller The Fast Diet. It’s a regimen that he himself follows, eating what he wants to for five days a week, then restricting himself to just 600 calories a day. Since his book was published in January last year, it went straight to the top of the best seller list in the UK and has since been sold in 32 different countries.
In Australia to launch the What’s Your Body Hiding? season on BBC Knowledge – a special month of programmes screening throughout October on food, health and wellbeing, Michael spoke to one of Australia’s most experienced business journalists and host of the Perrett Report on the Sky News Business Channel, Janine Perrett.
