I wanted to make a DnB song using the same production style and arrangement that I would use in a UK Hardcore track. The end result is skewed more towards the DnB side, but I feel I more or less accomplished what I originally set out to do with this track. The vocals where a last minute addition that I think really helped complete the song and made it sound and flow much better than if I had left it as an instrumental like I originally intended. I tried around 7 (million) or so vocals before I settled on these, I like the theme and they flow really well with the already existing chords. It's been a while since I have done a summer themed song and I am super happy with how it turned out.
