There are of course a whole lotta clubs: you can go in or out, to dance, some go to play football, in some you can smoke and in others you can have a drink. Still, none of them pleases the pallate like the Monkey Maffia Music Club directed by Sören Bodner, the FAT monkey for the gruff and deep. As Monkey Maffia he tours - without rest in the name of a carefully yet profound velvety boom instead of chalk in the neck – throughout the world and now his third-edition M.M.M.C on vinyl. Once again he catches exactly the insanity-come-refined, or deep-come-cool and of course the break-come-breakthrough. A heavy, sizzling bass storm that includes a somersault.
Clubs gibt's ja bekanntlich viele: welche um Ein- oder Auszutreten, zum Tanzen, andere spielen Fußball, manche kann man rauchen und einen sogar trinken um wachzubleiben. Doch keiner davon gibt dem Affen so viel Zucker wie der Monkey Maffia Music Club, seit jeher geleitet von Sören Bodner, FATs Äffchen fürs Grobe und Deepe. Als Monkey Maffia tourt er ohnehin rastlos im Namen des gepflegt tiefsinnigen Wumms samt Schalk im Nacken durch die Clubs dieser Welt, und nun geht sein M.M.M.C. auch auf Vinyl in die bereits dritte Runde. Und wieder einmal trifft hier genauso viel Irr- auf Feinsinn wie Deep- auf Coolness und vor allem Um- auf Durchbruch. Tief brodelnde Bassgewitter und Purzelbäume inklusive.
