Gerry Williams is the founder of Pacific Basin Exports (http://www.pbex.co.nz/) and his name might be recognised to a few of our New Zealand listeners.
Gerry is one of those humble blokes who’s done a lot and achieved a lot in life, and I encouraged him to come on to the show to share his story. Guys like Gerry have an enormous amount of life and business experience we can all learn from and we should all make and take the time to listen to others like him more than perhaps some of us do.
He shares the highs and lows of his journey when he was the first to start his own business exporting to South America when no one else was. He’s a tenacious, never say die type, thoroughly entertaining and has travelled to many countries and still lives life to full. He also gives his own advice to anyone starting out in Ag and the advice he’d give to his younger self.
It was a pleasure to chat with Gerry and be able to share his story here.
