2015 has seen the release of a magical album. A symbiosis of guitar music, electronics and ambient sounds. Some are "pop" enough to be played on the commercial radios, but we all know what is the situation with those nowadays and why quality music usually is skipped on mainstream radio. Don't know about you, but 3 years later that first album still sounds fresh and definitely is very memorable.
Die Wilde Jagd return this year with a brand new album, pushing it even further. It is sometimes hard to establish if it was meant for mass consumption or club use. I guess the best thing is that some tracks work for both worlds equally. The album is out April 6th.
We went to Berlin, and with the help of Nathan and Gareth recorded Sebastian from Die Wilde Jagd in one of the brightest venues in the city - Sameheads. Probably already well known to you for their magical parties and their unforgettable mixtape series. Sebastian joins our series to discuss his influences - music that inspired him and the new album in particular.
