Description

Are you feeling cooped up during the pandemic? The shortest path to a new adventure is through the pages of a good book! If you've already exhausted your 2020 reading list, our guest on this week's episode will inspire your next literary journey.

Dr. Jean Greenlaw is a longtime OLLI at UNT faculty member who is also a book review columnist for the Denton Record Chronicle. In this episode, she bonds with Susan over books as they discuss some of the ins and outs of the literary world. Although Dr. Greenlaw's specialty is children's literature, she creates her unique Book Talk column for a general audience. Each month, she presents a selection of books from multiple genres with special relevance to our community. Professor Greenlaw has enjoyed a distinguished career as an educator, author, and reviewer. She reflects on memorable moments and relationships in her life during this wide-ranging conversation.
