Here is my latest mix in the Expansion Project series, full of rare Disco cuts. I tried to include as many different styles of Disco in here as I could, such as Space Disco, Italo, Hi-NRG, Hustle etc. I'm a pretty big Funk, Soul and Disco fan, and I'm beyond envious of the folks that got to experience parties at The Loft, Paradise Garage, and to a lesser extent, Studio 54. At least SF has a pretty fun Disco party called Go Bang. Look it up if you wanna hear some choice cuts.
This mix was spun the way I imagine DJs would spin tracks back in the 70's and 80's, letting songs ride out and breathe. People have such short attention spans these days and sometimes I really wish there were more 2 hour DJ sets. Anyhow, enjoy, and please share if you dig it.
