In the book of Isaiah Chapter 6, Isaiah encounters the glory of God and immediately recognizes He is a man of unclean lips and lives amongst a people of unclean lips. The fire of the altar is used to remove Isaiah's guilt and sin then God raises Isaiah up as a prophet to deliver His word to the people of unclean lips.
In the story of Jonah, there is also a similarity. God chooses an angry man to reach an angry people. It's not until Chapter 4 of the book of Jonah until we see the true reasons why Jonah did not want to go to Niniveh. Jonah knew the Lord was gracious, compassionate and abounding in love.
The very thing you have called a weakness, sin and struggle in your life; is the very thing that God wants to use to draw others to Him.
