On Episode 45 of the Night School series, Mike is joined by Boston spoken word artist Amanda Shea. Amanda is a jack-of-all-trades as she is also poet, publicist, podcast host, teacher, and film artist.
Amanda and Mike share many laughs and discuss a wide variety of topics, including how to not be self-conscious about your sideburns, her come-up as a spoken word artist in Boston & the art of performing, and her numerous collaborations throughout the city on short films & radio projects, most notably with LFOD Radio & Beheard World. Amanda and Mike also swap stories and discuss what it has been like teach during a pandemic, as well as address important topics of mental health and social activism.
