Christopher Millard (age 21) and Nadina Mackie (age 17) playing Couperin Suite for 2 Like Instruments in 1976... I had been studying bassoon for just under 2 years with Christopher and heading to Curtis Institute the next year. I was playing a Cooper/Puchner and Christopher had a Heckel. The first of so many performances together.
There are two versions on this upload... a lot of tape hiss on the first but a clear tone; less tape noise on the second but vaguer bassoon pickup.
