Dark Matter by Marc Mellits... recording from iPhone beside amp... full of halts and falters as I am still fumbling with pedals, but I LOVE THIS PIECE and will keep practicing... I've played it for a masterclass I gave in Montreal (Oct 2/19), for a community library fundraiser in Dwight, Ontario (Nov 2/19), in Toronto at the life celebration of wonderful Michael Colgrass (Nov 10/19) and for Fugitive Conversations, a gathering of poets, writers, artists, lawyers, radio hosts, tech guys, shrinks, business people , and teenagers in Orangeville, ON...so at least 200 people have heard it recently. Each event was a multi-performer celebration of ideas and diverse music, so I've had the fun of learning how to get all gear up and running (electronics, reeds) with no prep time... new for a spoiled diva.
