A tape which has been rinsed through every available tape deck speaker around since 1997 and it is blasting through car tape decks up until today. It was either bought at Da Source or Groove City in Hamburg, Germany, and lead to the purchase of nearly every single record on this tape, basically getting some of us into buying our own Technics 1210 MKII at the end of the day. It is a true artifact of who we were (are) and how a circle of friends defined their style in language, in motion, in clothing and in overall Hip Hop culture in a small town in north east Germany. These tapes were major influences at that time, offering a rare and desired glimpse into hidden corners of music.
