Description

The Braw and The Brave is a podcast about people and their passions.

N.B. This episode contains some strong language.

Episode 137 is in conversation with writer, producer and presenter Alistair Heather. With an innate passion for preserving the Scots Leid and an interest in Scottish history and culture, Alistair writes for several publications and presents TV programmes, including his BBC Scotland documentary ‘Rebel Tongue’.

Growing up around keen storytellers, Alistair’s natural talent for communication and connecting with the world around him, has taken him to New Zealand and back, with his experiences there inspiring him to pursue his studies in history further, whilst carving out what he calls ‘a collage’ career. Grabbing opportunity, excited by the prospect of engaging with communities to protect and champion their heritage, Alistair gravitates towards people, places and stories that he feels deserve to take their place at the table.

Enjoy!
