Arriving in Scotland from Democratic Republic of the Congo aged 19, Etienne embarked on an incredible storytelling adventure. From documentaries to music videos. Etienne’s work is extensive with his infectious energy and passion for every aspect of the creative process evident in this conversation. Compelled to share his own experiences, he created the superhero DJ E.T in his comic series Beats Of War and now leads workshops inspiring young people to explore their imagination and be their own superhero.
