The Braw and The Brave is a podcast about people and their passions.
Episode 110 is in conversation with singer/songwriter Nico Ev. Encouraged by a friend to enter her first ever songwriter competition a little over two years ago (which she subsequently won!) she has gone on to write a catalogue of original material, performing at Celtic Connections, the TRON Theatre and various venues across Glasgow. A seasoned performer in cover bands, the leap in to songwriting has opened up a whole world of opportunities and collaborations which Nico Ev has embraced, with her debut EP ‘Hunter’ due for release later this year. A secondary school music teacher, she recognises the importance of pursuing passions and making space for creativity in your life. We talk about musical influences, the creative process and why it’s never too late to go for it!
