Welcome to The Club! Been broken up with? The patriarchy getting you down? Cry behind your pal’s garage and ruin the party again? Well, have no fear because Sad Girls Club is here!
Episode 197 is in conversation with actor and writer Hannah Elizabeth Morton who following a successful Fringe run, is bringing her comedy Sad Girls Club to Glasgow’s International Comedy Festival this March. We chat about life as a creative, the experiences that inspired her to write the play and what it really means to be a sad girl! With her talent, wit and dedication, Hannah has crafted an uplifting and empowering production that she is hugely proud of, which seeks to tackle many of the issues faced by women and girls and invites audiences to ‘have some fun being sad’.
Enjoy!
