Unable to find a anyone who could correctly treat his hair type as a teenager, Scott embarked on his hairdressing journey and has gone on to become one of Scotland’s most sought after curl specialists. With his beloved profession comes his love of connecting with others and in creating a safe space and bespoke service for his clients, he continues to gather the stories and experiences of others, ever-keen to keep learning and perfecting his craft. But it is Scott’s own personal story that is arguably the most fascinating. In this episode he recounts the incredible tale of discovering his birth family and uncovering truths about himself. He recalls the determination of a 15 year old school leaver who endeavoured to pursue his passion and make his mark on the world….one curl and one connection at a time.
