Find Myself
My heart weeps for the man who does not know God,
The man who does not truly search, so he does not find.
The man who thinks himself to be alive, but his life is a facade,
The man who lives for himself, and thus death is refined.
The man who walks in darkness, the man who walks in fog,
The man who claims that he can see, but that man is really blind.
The man who is a hypocrite, who always thinks he's right, but knows that he is flawed,
The man who thinks he is free, but does not see the chains that he lives behind.
The man who wears a mask, but does not know he is a fraud,
The man whose pain has taken root, and grown over the garden of his mind.
The man who serves anger and hatred, evil he applauds,
The man who is a slave, but does not see the chains that are inside.
The man who does not understand, so he blames God,
The man who loves his life, unaware he has already died.

A double minded man is unstable in his ways. (James 1:8)
Am I a double minded man, who thinks he’s getting closer, but really getting farther away?
I can feel You slipping, slipping through my fingers, slipping through my hands,
But now I see where my fault lies. I am just a man,
Who can see his fault lines. I’m quaking in my boots,
I’m trembling before You.
I thought I could hold You or put You in a box.
I thought I was as good as You, but I know I’m not.
I am just a fool in this world, who’s begging for a spot, in Your family.
I’m standing at the door, and if I choose to knock, will You answer me?
All my earthly keys can’t open this lock, then it dawns on me,
I am at the mercy of the Almighty.
This life isn't gray, it’s just black and white, see,
You’re heart’s either dark or it’s Light,
choose Life please
