One of Formation Records very own, Fabric8, brings us Part 1 of his ‘Phase Two’ EP with Part 2 to at the end of this month. Fabric8 has been making waves in the scene with multiple releases on and features on both Formation and Future Formation. Recently featuring multiple times of our latest LP Back to Jungle Vol 2. As well as making his mark with his high class production, he is a regular feature on the line ups at ‘Gravity’ events at Leeds notorious Beaver Works. Now sit back and get ready for two tracks of DnB heaven.
The first track to kick off this 2 part EP is ‘The End’. This track is a genuine masterpiece, with vocals that are ready to be shelled out over festival crowds. We’re gently introduced with warping synths that create a relaxed ambience, which is quickly replaced with rolling deep bass to set the real feel of this track. The build-up to the drop will take you to heights that will have you ready to skank your soul away.
The second track ‘Don’t let me go’ has an instant darker feel that is becoming Fabric8’s trademark. We have a real nasty bass that is the prominent feature, if this doesn’t leave you with a bass face we don’t know what will! Once again Fabric8 has used vocals that add another level of depth and surrealness to the track. Safe to say ‘Don’t let me go’ won’t be leaving playlists for a long time to come.
